Terms of Service

1. Who we are

Activity Hub ("we", "us") is an online marketplace that helps guests discover and book activities and experiences provided by independent third-party operators in Dubai. We are not the operator of any activity listed on the platform; we facilitate the introduction, the booking, the payment, and the communication between guest and operator.

2. Eligibility

To use the platform you must be at least 18 years old, or be using the platform under the supervision of a parent or guardian. By creating an account or booking an activity you confirm you have legal capacity to do so under UAE law.

3. Your account

  • You are responsible for the security of your password and for every action taken under your account.
  • Account information must be accurate and current — operators rely on it for safety briefings, age verification, and pickup logistics.
  • We may suspend or terminate accounts that abuse the platform, harass operators, post fraudulent reviews, or attempt to bypass payment.

4. Bookings and payment

  • A booking is provisional until the operator accepts it. We will only collect payment after acceptance.
  • Prices shown include applicable VAT (5%) unless explicitly stated otherwise.
  • All communication between guest and operator must take place through the platform. Operators are contractually prohibited from sharing direct contact details to bypass the platform.
  • If you fail to attend an accepted booking without cancelling, the operator may retain the full amount, subject to the listing's cancellation policy.

5. Cancellations and refunds

Each listing displays its cancellation policy (Flexible, Moderate, or Strict). The full refund schedule is documented on the refunds and cancellations page. Refunds, when due, are returned to the original payment method within 5–10 business days.

6. Operators' responsibilities

  • Operators are independent businesses, separately licensed by UAE authorities for their activity (DET, DTCM, RTA, UAE Coastguard, etc., as applicable).
  • Operators are responsible for safety, equipment, insurance, instructors, and compliance with all UAE laws.
  • We verify operators' trade licences and identity before allowing them to publish, but we do not warrant the operator's ongoing compliance.

7. Conduct on the platform

  • No fraudulent bookings, scraping, automated traffic, or attempts to circumvent rate limits.
  • Reviews must reflect your actual experience and only be posted after a completed booking.
  • No defamatory, discriminatory, sexual, or illegal content anywhere on the platform.

8. Intellectual property

The Activity Hub brand, code, design, and database are owned by us. Operator content (photos, descriptions) is licensed to us for use on the platform. Guest content (reviews) is licensed to us for the duration the review is published.

9. Liability

We act as a marketplace and are not a party to the activity contract between guest and operator. To the maximum extent permitted by UAE law, our aggregate liability is limited to the amount you paid through the platform in the 12 months preceding the claim. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.

10. Disputes

If you have a complaint about an operator, please use the in-app messaging on the booking thread first, then escalate to us via contact. These terms are governed by the laws of the Emirate of Dubai and the United Arab Emirates; the courts of Dubai have exclusive jurisdiction.

11. Changes

We may update these terms. Significant changes will be notified in-app at least 14 days before they take effect. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance.
